Is Fear of Failure holding you back?

You have this burning PASSION…You have this brilliant IDEA…You have this PICTURE in your head…You know that if you can do this one thing, you’ll be happy. Of course you believe in yourself. Back in your mind you know you are capable. BUT what if you fail? What if you get rejected? This worries you so much that you even stop thinking about this ‘crazy’ idea. Or you postpone pursuing it because you feel it will require more time, more resources, more money you don’t have. You know what? You are not alone. The planet earth is filled with humans with ‘dreams’. Unfortunately, only few have courage to pursue their dreams. The rest are fantasizing about achieving them. And you wonder why not much has been done? We are waiting for you. It’s time you step up and step out of your comfort zone…NOW

Not sure if your idea is feasible? Put it on the test.

Just go ahead, take that leap of faith and DO IT. Stop worrying about how other people would react if you fail. Stop doubting yourself. Stop focusing on your limitations. Stop the negative thinking habit. STOP.
Now focus! If you don’t try, you’ll never know. If you try and fail, keep trying until you succeed. Try every day, try from different angles. Never stop trying. Know that it is not over until you WIN!

Communication is important

Talk to other people about your dream. Make new friends. Social media have made it easier to make new connections these days. More friends means more connections. You can start here.

If you believe in your dream, that is enough to keep you going.

There will be people who will try to pull you down. They will tell you that you are a small fish, you will never get noticed. That you are an amateur with less skills and no expertise. You will get rejections and criticism. Don’t allow this to stop you from going forward and pursue your dream. Go forth and do your thing.

What wonderful words Khanyampumi. And the timing, for myself at least, couldn’t have been better. I just found out yesterday that my pastor is going to be leaving town for a few weeks & he has asked me to take over running our church while he is gone. I am very excited & more than happy to do it because I have been praying about, & trying to fulfill, the Lord’s calling in my heart to teach others about Him. It is still a nerve-wracking prospect now that the opportunity to do just that has been thrust so quickly upon me.

That’s okay though, because i know that He will help me to do it & help me to do it well. But your words have also encouraged me to face whatever awaits in the weeks to come. 🙂

    Sincerely,
    Rebecca Laurasia

Thank you Rebecca. I feel really honored to read your comment Rebecca. I am happy to know that I have touched you somehow. Go ahead, take that opportunity and give it your all. God never disappoints. All the best.

      Kind Regards,
      Khanyampumi
